The hotel had a unique and memorable room decor, but it felt tired and worn, not ideal for somewhere lacking light. The air conditioning was excellent, which was a relief in the hot weather. The live goldfish added an artistic touch to the room.

I couldn't have asked for a better location being right by the river and the bridge. The rooms, although a bit small by North American standards, were clean and well-appointed. The service, from the manager to the room service, was exceptionally friendly and professional. The hotel is perfectly situated to explore the city on a brief visit, but keep in mind it can be a bit noisy and dodgy at times. The dining experience, although with fresh fish, was on the expensive side and took place in a rather pokey basement restaurant. Overall, the view of the river and the proximity to local artists' work make this hotel a unique stay.
